The Riverhounds recorded a 2-0 victory against the Tampa Bay Rowdies in their last outing on July 22, as Chevaughn Walsh and Romeo Parkes found the net either side of halftime.
Goalkeeper Keasel Broome produced a standout display in goal, earning USL Team of the Week honors for his five-save shutout.
The Riverhounds sit 11th going into the week’s action, but would move firmly into the top eight in the Eastern Conference with a victory on Tuesday.
Walsh’s goal was his first this season, while Parkes’ was his second for the side in seven appearances since re-joining the Riverhounds.

The Independence extended their winning streak to three games on Saturday night in a 2-1 victory against the Rochester Rhinos.
In a game that was delayed twice by bad weather, David Estrada scored twice for Charlotte to earn the hosts victory at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
The game marked the third in a row where the Independence had notched two goals, as the victory moved the side into fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
Charlotte would match its club-record winning streak of four games with a win on Tuesday. The Independence won four consecutive games between April 16 and May 7, 2016.
