CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati has announced that Saturday night’s international exhibition against the Premier League’s Crystal Palace at Nippert Stadium had sold out at 35,000 tickets. The game is the first of its kind in the club's history, and arrives in the middle of what has been a remarkable inaugural season for the club in the USL.

With an average attendance of more than 15,000 fans per game during the club’s inaugural season, having set a new all-time single-game USL record on May 14 when 23,375 fans packed Nippert Stadium for the contest with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Saturday’s attendance shouldn’t come as a surprise to those who have followed the league closely.

With the team finding success on the field as well, sitting third in the USL’s Eastern Conference entering this weekend’s action, the club’s supporters have been offered great entertainment by Coach John Harkes’ squad. More of the same is expected on Saturday night, with the game also set to be streamed live on the USL Facebook Page at 7 p.m. ET.
