TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced the rescheduling of two Charleston Battery contests on Thursday, pushing back a weekend encounter against Indy Eleven due to the effects of Hurricane Dorian and confirming a new date for a previously postponed match against Memphis 901 FC.
The Battery, who were set to welcome the Eleven to town on Saturday night, will now host Indy on Sunday, September 8 at 6:00 p.m. ET after working with Charleston staff to assess city and field conditions. It will be the first time the Battery are in action since a scoreless draw in Charlotte against the Independence on Friday, August 30.
Meanwhile, a previously postponed contest against Memphis 901 FC has been moved to Wednesday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both matches will be played at MUSC Health Stadium.
