COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC unveiled on Wednesday their new away jersey for the 2019 USL Championship season, and a new-look logo from primary sponsor Centura Orthopedics logo for the front of both the home and away jerseys.

This is the second year of a five-year agreement between Capelli Sport and the Switchbacks that sees Capelli Sport supply the team with its innovative apparel and training gear. The new away jersey features a black-and-white striped motif below white shoulders and the Capelli Sport three-square design running from the neck. The Switchbacks also introduced a new orange goalkeeper jersey, with a v-shaped design across the top-third of the jersey shoulders for the new campaign.  

The Switchbacks are gearing up for their fifth season in the USL Championship but this one will feel a little different following the club’s partnership with Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids. The partnership will see four players from the Rapids join the Switchbacks on loan for the 2019 season, while also connecting the two professional clubs in Colorado for the first time in a way that will offer a pathway for the state’s top talent to aspire to.

The Switchbacks will return to preseason action next week when they head to face host Real Monarchs SLC and Reno 1868 FC in the Wasatch Winter Cup on February 18th and 21st at Zions Bank Real Academy in Herriman, Utah for the first-ever all-USL Championship preseason tournament.
