IRVINE, Calif.  – Orange County SC has agreed to terms with recent Concordia University graduate, Connor Gordon, pending league, and federation approval.

"I'm very happy that Connor has agreed to join us this season,” said OCSC Head Coach, Braeden Cloutier. “He has shown over the past several years the ability to score goals in college and we are hoping that he can produce the same results here at Orange County. "

Gordon, a forward from Coto De Caza, will join OCSC for the 2019 season. He most recently played for Concordia University and he has been a member Orange County SC U-23 League Two Team since April, 2017.

"I am very excited to continue my growth as a soccer player at Orange County Soccer Club,” said Gordon. “ It has been a very pleasurable and rewarding experience to work with the organization starting with the PDL team (now League Two) and now moving into the first team. It is a blessing to be able to play for my home town team and represent such a great city."

Gordon a local product and a success story for Orange County SC’s path to the pros initiative, began playing soccer in Huntington Beach, CA. After graduating Edison High School, he attended Concordia University, where he was a two-time first team All-PacWest Conference honoree. Gordon currently shares the Concordia University school record with 50 career goals.

“We are pleased to add Connor, a local stand out to our first team roster,” said OCSC General Manager, Oliver Wyss. “Connor successfully developed through our pathway to professional model and after an impressive season playing for our U23 side earned a full professional contract.
