BIRMINGHAM, AL. (Dec. 14, 2018) – USL Championship released today the opening fixtures for the 2019 season. The first game of the inaugural Birmingham Legion FC season will be a home match against Bethlehem Steel FC on March 9, 2019 at BBVA Compass Field.

“Providing details for our regular season home opener adds another layer of excitement ahead of a huge year for our club,” said Legion FC President and General Manager Jay Heaps. “This is sure to be a historic event for soccer in Birmingham and I expect a full stadium of supporters to celebrate our commitment to the sport and the Magic City.” 

Season ticket packages are now available for the club’s 2019 USL Championship season. All season ticket accounts will benefit from priority access and amenities at lowest-possible prices for 19 matches. Packages will include all 17 of Legion FC’s home USL matches, as well as two preseason friendlies, with tickets priced from $12 per game. Children aged three (3) and under qualify for free tickets.

Legion FC will play all home games at the brand new BBVA Compass Field, with most league games being played on Saturday evenings. There will be seven seating tiers priced from $225 for General Admission.
