TAMPA, Fla. – The 2018 USL regular season came to an exciting end as 120 goals were scored across the month of October, including a bevy of tremendous finishes that brought the league’s goalscoring total up to 1,612 for the season and saw Louisville City FC’s Cameron Lancaster claim the USL Golden Boot with a league-leading 25 tallies. Now it’s your turn to select the best of the five selected that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.

USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month Finalists – October
Matthew Harding (SAC) - #SACvLV, 10/13/18: Harding got behind the Las Vegas defense and fired a right-footed shot past Lights FC goalkeeper Thomas Olsen to become the club’s youngest ever goalscorer after the 15-year-old signed a one-game contract through the help of Make-A-Wish and UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
Jorge Herrera (CLT) - #CLTvNC, 10/13/18: Herrera went for the spectacular and connected sweetly with a stunning, left-footed bicycle kick that found the left corner of the net early in his side’s match against North Carolina FC that landed at the No. 3 spot on ESPN’s SportsCenter.
Samuel Ochoa (LV) - #LVvPHX, 10/10/18: Ochoa converted Alex Mendoza’s cross with an acrobatic overhead kick from the center of the penalty area to round out the scoring in his side’s 5-2 home win over Phoenix Rising FC.
Jure Matjasic (SAC) - #SACvSPR, 10/3/18: Matjasic ran onto Elliott Hord’s chipped through ball and produced a first-time, left-footed finish to volley home late in his side’s 3-1 win over the Swope Park Rangers.
Eugene Starikov (IND) - #INDvBST, 10/6/18: Starikov ran onto Ayoze’s lofted pass and produced a stunning chip to lob Tomas Romero from the edge of the penalty area in his side’s 1-1 draw against Bethlehem Steel FC.
