TAMPA, Fla. – The feast of goals that has marked the 2018 USL regular season continued in September with some standout displays that saw five players notch hat tricks and more than 275 goals arrive over the course of the month in total. Now it’s your turn to select the best of the 10 selected that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.

Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, October 8

USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month Finalists – September

Cristian Portilla (OTT) - #TORvOTT, 9/6/18: Portilla’s olimpico from a corner kick on the right was judged to perfection as it curled into the left corner of the net in Fury FC’s victory against Toronto FC II.

Kyle Greig (STL) - #STLvRNO, 9/8/18: Greig pulled off a fine piece of control to set up a turning volley from close range that proved the winner for STLFC in its playoff six-pointer against Reno 1868 FC.

Fanendo Adi (CIN) - #CINvTOR, 9/16/18: Adi produced a tremendous piece of skill to get past his marker to stride in on goal and then finished precisely with the outside of his right foot into the right corner at Nippert Stadium.

Cameron Lancaster (LOU) - #PGHvLOU, 9/15/18: The current leader for the USL Golden Boot produced a great piece of control and turning, volleyed finish that picked out the bottom-left corner against Riverhounds SC at Highmark Stadium for his 19th goal of the season.

Saeed Robinson (COS) - #COSvRGV, 9/15/18: Robinson filled up the highlight reel in September, including this spectacular long-range finish to the top-right corner from the left corner of the penalty area to put the Switchbacks ahead against Rio Grande Valley FC at Weidner Field.

Greg Jordan (CLT) - #CLTvNY, 9/22/18: Jordan ran onto Conor O’Brien’s flick and struck a sweet volley into the bottom corner for his first goal of the season in the Independence’s clash with the Red Bulls II at the Sportsplex at Matthews.

Alessandro Castro (ATL) - #ATLvNC, 9/21/18: Castro produced a fantastic first-time finish from 25 yards out to find the top-left corner and equalize for ATL UTD 2 in its match against North Carolina FC.

Noah Powder (OC) - #OCvSLC, 9/19/18: Young standout Powder lobbed Monarchs goalkeeper Jake Leeker with a stunning chip from just outside the center circle to give his side the lead in a 5-2 victory for the current Western Conference leader.

Emmanuel Ledesma (CIN) - #RICvCIN, 9/26/18: Ledesma struck a dipping drive from the corner of the penalty area past Richmond goalkeeper Brandon Barnes for his second goal of the game as Cincinnati clinched the 2018 USL Regular Season Championship.

Ethan Bryant (SA) - #SAvSEA, 9/29/18: Bryant became the youngest goalscorer in San Antonio FC’s history (17 years, one month) when he connected sweetly on a first-time volley for the game-winner in his side’s 3-1 victory against Seattle Sounders FC 2.
