USL Discipline Report – Week 30

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 30 of the 2018 United Soccer League season:

The New York Red Bulls II’s Jose Aguinaga has been suspended for one game following his red card for serious foul play against Nashville SC this past Saturday. Aguinaga will be unavailable for New York’s game this Saturday against North Carolina FC.

Seattle Sounders FC 2’s Rodrigue Ele has been suspended for one game following his red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity against San Antonio FC this past Saturday. Ele served his suspension on Wednesday night when Seattle played host to the LA Galaxy II.

The Portland Timbers 2’s Nathan Smith has been suspended for one game following his red card for receiving two cautions in this past Saturday’s game against Sacramento Republic FC. Smith served his suspension on Wednesday night when Portland played host to Reno 1868 FC.

The Richmond Kickers’ Heviel Cordoves has been suspended for one game following his red card for receiving two cautions in this past Saturday’s game against North Carolina FC. Cordoves will be unavailable for Richmond’s game this Saturday against Nashville SC.

FC Cincinnati’s Danni König, Bethlehem Steel FC’s Olivier Mbaizo and Toronto FC II’s Terique Mohamed have each been suspended for one game after receiving their fifth cautions of the season. Mohamed will be unavailable for Toronto’s game on Friday night with Louisville City FC, König will be unavailable for Cincinnati’s game on Saturday against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, and Mbaizo will be unavailable for Bethlehem’s game on Saturday against Indy Eleven.

The Charleston Battery’s Tah Anunga, FC Cincinnati’s Blake Smith, North Carolina FC’s Austin da Luz, Orange County SC’s Michael Seaton and Toronto FC II’s Matthew Srbely are no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • Charlotte Independence (1): Alex Martinez

  • Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (1): Ayukokata Tambe

  • Fresno FC (1): Mickey Daly

  • Indy Eleven (1): Brad Ring

  • LA Galaxy II (2): Miguel Aguilar, Adrian Vera

  • Las Vegas Lights FC (2): Marcelo Alatorre, Miguel Garduno

  • Louisville City FC (2): Brian Ownby, Paolo DelPiccolo

  • Nashville SC (1): Matt LaGrassa

  • North Carolina FC (2): Graham Smith, Connor Tobin

  • OKC Energy FC (1): Drew Beckie

  • Orange County SC (2): Kevin Alston, Alex Crognale

  • Phoenix Rising FC (1): Gladson Awako

  • Portland Timbers 2 (1): Eryk Williamson, Renzo Zambrano

  • Richmond Kickers (2): Heviel Cordoves, Raul Gonzalez

  • Saint Louis FC (1): Jonathan Barden

  • San Antonio FC (1): Cyprian Hedrick

  • Seattle Sounders FC 2 (2): Tony Alfaro, Ibrahim Usman

  • Toronto FC II (3): Rocco Romeo, Robert Boskovic, Dante Campbell

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension for receiving an eighth caution this season, which would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • ATL UTD 2 (1): Andrew Kendall-Moullin

  • Fresno FC (1): Zach Ellis-Hayden

  • Las Vegas Lights FC (1): Marco Jaime

  • OKC Energy FC (1): Callum Ross

  • Ottawa Fury FC (1): Eddie Edward

  • Seattle Sounders FC 2 (1): Jesse Daley

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension for receiving an 11th caution this season, which would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • FC Cincinnati (1): Emmanuel Ledesma

  • San Antonio FC (1): Darnell King

  • Tampa Bay Rowdies (1): Joe Cole

  • Tulsa Roughnecks FC (1): Ivan Mirkovic
