USL Discipline Report – Week 29

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 29 of the 2018 United Soccer League season:

Ottawa Fury FC’s Nana Attakora and Kevin Oliveira have each been suspended for three games following their red cards for violent conduct against Louisville City FC this past Saturday. Both Attakora and Oliveira will be unavailable for Fury FC’s remaining three games of the regular season against Toronto FC II (Sept. 26), Bethlehem Steel FC (Sept. 30) and the Charleston Battery (Oct. 13)

The Charleston Battery’s Patrick Okonkwo will serve a one-game suspension for his red card against Nashville SC for violent conduct following the reduction of the suspension from three games by the Independent Discipline Panel. Okonkwo will be unavailable for the Battery’s game on Wednesday night against North Carolina FC.

San Antonio FC’s Moises Hernandez has been suspended for one game following his red card for serious foul play against Saint Louis FC this past Saturday. Hernandez will be unavailable for San Antonio’s game this Saturday against Seattle Sounders FC 2.

Bethlehem Steel FC’s Brandon Aubrey, Las Vegas Lights FC’s Carlos Alvarez, the Richmond Kickers’ Mekeil Williams and San Antonio FC’s Cesar Elizondo will each serve a one-game suspension after being awarded their fifth cautions of the season this past weekend. Aubrey will be unavailable for Steel FC’s contest with Ottawa Fury FC on Sunday, Alvarez for Lights FC’s contest with Orange County SC on Wednesday, Williams for the Kickers’ contest with FC Cincinnati on Wednesday, and Elizondo for San Antonio’s contest with Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Saturday.

Fresno FC’s Pedro Ribeiro will serve a one-game suspension after being awarded his eighth caution of the season this past weekend. Ribeiro will serve his suspension in the Foxes game on Saturday against Rio Grande Valley FC.

Louisville City FC’s Pat McMahon served a one-game suspension this past Saturday in the club’s game against Ottawa Fury FC after being sent off following two yellow cards against Penn FC last Wednesday night.

San Antonio FC’s Mikey Lopez served a one-game suspension this past Saturday in the club’s contest with Saint Louis FC after receiving his eighth caution of the season in last Wednesday night’s game against the Swope Park Rangers.

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Jordan Schweitzer, the LA Galaxy II’s Frank Lopez, Orange County SC’s Aodhan Quinn, Phoenix Rising FC’s Mike da Fonte, and Rio Grande Valley FC’s Todd Wharton are no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.

FC Cincinnati’s Dekel Keinan is no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place him on six cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:
