HARRISBURG, Pa. – Penn FC has announced that it will offer free tickets to both Sunday’s game with North Carolina FC and next Wednesday night’s contest with Louisville City FC for those that have evacuated to the area from North Carolina and South Carolina to avoid the impending arrival of Hurricane Florence.
Any person that has evacuated from North or South Carolina will receive a free ticket to either match with a valid North Carolina or South Carolina ID.
The club also announced that it will be accepting monetary donations this Sunday evening at FNB Field for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund specifically for those affected by Hurricane Florence when it plays host to North Carolina FC. Additionally, the club will itself donate a portion of the proceeds from the game’s 50-50 raffle to the Red Cross fund.
Penn FC and North Carolina FC enter Sunday’s contest level on 35 points as they try to earn a place in the 2018 USL Cup Playoffs, with both sides currently sitting four points outside the top eight in the Eastern Conference with seven games remaining.
