Louisville City FC and FC Cincinnati will meet competitively for the 10th time this Saturday night at Slugger Field (7:30 p.m. ET | Match Center | ESPN+) in what could be the last official meeting between the teams for a while with FCC’s move to Major League Soccer next spring.
From eight games across the USL regular season to their lone Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup contest so far, there have been plenty of big storylines and highlights that have run through each of the meetings between the teams. The only competition the teams haven’t squared off in yet is the USL Cup Playoffs – and here I’ll give you a moment to think about what an FCC vs. LouCity contest in this year’s postseason, potentially for an Eastern Conference Championship and place at USL Cup on the line, would look and feel like.
All good? OK.
Ahead of Saturday night, here’s a look back at those nine previous meetings. You can let us know which one you think ranks as the biggest in the series’ history.
