USL Discipline Report – Week 25

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 25 of the 2018 United Soccer League season:

The Charleston Battery’s Tah Anunga has been suspended for one game following his red card for serious foul play against the New York Red Bulls II this past Saturday. Anunga will be unavailable for the Battery’s contest this Friday against Louisville City FC.

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Jordan Burt has been suspended for one game following his red card for serious foul play against Phoenix Rising FC this past Saturday. Burt will be suspended for the Switchbacks’ game on Wednesday night against Real Monarchs SLC.

Fresno FC’s Ramon Martin Del Campo has been suspended for one game following his red card for denial of a goal-scoring opportunity against Las Vegas Lights FC this past Saturday. Del Campo will be unavailable for Fresno’s game against Reno 1868 FC on Saturday night.

FC Cincinnati’s Blake Smith, Nashville SC’s Ish Jome and the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Papé Diakité have each been suspended for one game following their sending off for receiving two cautions in their respective contests this past Saturday night. Jome will be unavailable for Nashville’s contest against the Richmond Kickers on Tuesday night, Smith will be unavailable for Cincinnati’s game against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC this Saturday, and Diakité will be unavailable for Tampa Bay’s game against North Carolina FC this Saturday.

FC Cincinnati’s Paddy Barrett, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC’s Thomas Vancaeyezeele and Seattle Sounders FC 2’s Jesse Daley have both been suspended for one game after receiving their fifth yellow cards of the season on Saturday night. Daley will be unavailable for Seattle’s game against Saint Louis FC on Wednesday night, Vancaeyezeele will be unavailable for Pittsburgh’s game against Indy Eleven on Wednesday night, and Barrett will be unavailable for Cincinnati’s contest against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC this Saturday night.

Tulsa Roughnecks FC’s Ivan Mirkovic has been suspended for one game after receiving his eighth yellow card of the season this past Saturday. Mirkovic will be unavailable for Tulsa’s contest with the Swope Park Rangers on Wednesday night. 

Phoenix Rising FC’s Doue Mala served a one-game suspension this past Saturday after being sent off for receiving two cautions last Wednesday night against San Antonio FC. Additionally, the New York Red Bulls II’s Cristian Casseres Jr. and Ottawa Fury FC’s Tony Taylor each served suspensions this past Saturday after receiving their fifth yellow cards of the season in midweek contests during Week 24.

The Charlotte Independence’s Alex Martinez, Real Monarchs SLC’s Jack Blake and San Antonio FC’s Diego Restrepo are no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:
