USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 23
Matt Cardone (SA) - #PORvSA, 8/14/18: Cardone made an excellent reaction save to keep out a header by the Portland Timbers 2’s Eryk Williamson last Wednesday night at Providence Park.
Owain Fôn Williams (IND) - #OTTvIND, 8/18/18: Fôn Williams recorded a three-save shutout for Indy in Ottawa that included this tremendous stop to keep out Fury FC forward Tony Taylor’s close-range finish.
Nicolas Corti (RGV) - #RGVvOKC, 8/18/18: Corti stared down a one-on-one situation with Energy FC forward Christian Volesky and produced a great left-handed save to keep out the low finish.
Kendall McIntosh (POR) - #PORvSEA, 8/19/18: McIntosh got a late jump on Khai Brisco’s header for Seattle as he waited for a potential redirection in front, but still managed to parry the effort to safety off his goal line.
Eric Dick (SPR) - #SPRvRNO, 8/19/18: Dick got down well to turn aside a first-time finish by Reno 1868 FC’s Antoine Hoppenot with a strong left-handed save at Children’s Mercy Park.
