USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 22
Matt Pickens (NSH) - #NSHvOTT, 8/10/18: Pickens went at full stretch to keep out a long-range strike from Ottawa Fury FC’s Carl Haworth as part of a three-save shutout last Friday night at First Tennessee Park.
Tyler Deric (RGV) - #SACvRGV, 8/11/18: Deric reacted quickly to make a kick-save after the ball pinballed around the penalty area before falling to Sacramento’s Villyan Bijev for a close-range finish at Papa Murphy’s Park.
Ricardo Ferriño (LV) - #STLvLV, 8/11/18: Ferriño made two big stops on a breakaway chance for Saint Louis FC, first keeping out Wal Fall before recovering to smother the rebound chance for Kyle Culbertson.
Joe Kuzminsky (CHS) - #TBRvCHS, 8/8/18: Kuzminsky produced a reflex, fingertip stop to preserve his shutout on a big chance for the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Junior Flemmings from the right side of the penalty area.
Andrew Dykstra (CLT) - #CLTvBST, 8/8/18: Dykstra kept himself big to deny a one-on-one chance for Bethlehem Steel FC’s Faris, who had split the defense to open up an early opportunity at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
