TAMPA, Fla. – The United Soccer Leagues, LLC, has announced today the addition of goCharge to the USL Preferred Supplier Program. A leading provider of mobile charging stations to sports stadiums and arenas, outdoor music festivals, hospitals, universities, conferences, trade shows and more, goCharge has been named the Official Mobile Device Charging Station Supplier for all related properties, including the United Soccer League, USL’s Division III, the Premier Development League (PDL) and the Super Y League.

Since pioneering the industry in 2009, goCharge has established a leadership position in the market, and today provides the power to stay connected to family, friends and business through the widest range of charging solutions and first-class technological applications.

“goCharge provides a must-have utility to keep people connected and offers top-quality construction, superior customer service and lightning-fast responsiveness,” said USL President Jake Edwards. “We look forward to working with goCharge to provide secure and reliable charging solutions and a more enjoyable experience for our clubs and their fans at the league’s venues across North America.”

Based in New York, goCharge (www.gochargenetworks.com) has provided more than a million safe and secure charges and is the unquestioned leader in the placement of Charging Stations in the sports-related market sector. goCharge Mobile Charging Stations are currently in 27 of the 30 Major League Baseball ballparks, a dozen NFL stadiums (New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans and more) 20 Live Nation arenas and amphitheaters, almost 100 colleges and universities (Ohio State University, St. John’s University, Michigan State, University of Southern Indian, etc.) and major hospital systems (Northwell, Childrens’ Hospital of Pittsburgh, Cedar’s Sinai, Hackensack Meridien, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, etc.) Other clients include Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, JP Morgan and Bank of America, Harley-Davidson, Anchorage International Airport, Charleston Civic Center, Boston Beer and many more.

“We are pleased and honored to be the official Mobile Device Charging Station Supplier to the USL,” commented David Walke, CEO of goCharge. “As the leader in providing Charging Stations to the sports market, we know that fans are constantly using their phones and tablets for social media, and to stay connected while enjoying the event. It is a natural fit, and we are confident that USL fans will greatly appreciate the amenity.”

“Sponsors love the Stations as well”, Mr. Walke said. “They provide a necessary and valued service, and receive outstanding brand awareness and regard in return. It’s a win-win for everyone!”

An estimated 30–40 new franchises are expected to be announced at the second and third divisions of professional soccer over the next five years, which will create opportunities for potential suppliers and vendors to support this growth.

Through its Preferred Supplier Program, the USL connects suppliers with new franchise owners and existing USL clubs in order to deliver the best possible experience for fans across North America. Preferred suppliers are “Best in Class” companies that provide services and products to professional franchises and stadium developers and must meet the USL’s strict quality standards. The USL is currently in discussions with suppliers that support stadium development, as well as the buildout of team front offices and operations.
