ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced on Friday it had acquired midfielder Tony Rocha on loan from Major League Soccer’s Orlando City SC. The loan is set to expire on April 15th, 2018 with the option to extend upon mutual agreement.

Rocha will be available for selection in Saint Louis’ game against Fresno FC on Saturday night, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. CT at Toyota Stadium – Saint Louis.

“We are excited to have Tony join us as he adds another dynamic midfielder to our roster with good experience,” said STLFC Vice-President & GM Jeremy Alumbaugh. “Our staff is very familiar with Tony, as a player and a person, and we feel that he will fit well into the group.”

Rocha was born in Spring, Texas and attended Tulsa University from 2011-2014 where he played in 76 games and provided seven goals and 10 assists through his collegiate career.  He signed with Austin Aztex of the USL in 2015 and made 25 appearances before joining Orlando City B in 2016. Rocha has made a total of 44 appearances for the Orlando City organization between the MLS and USL sides, including 14 games for Orlando City B during the 2017 USL season.
