TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 29 of the 2017 United Soccer League season:

Real Monarchs SLC defender Demar Phillips has been suspended for four games after his red card for spitting in this past Saturday’s game against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2. Phillips will serve at least two games of his suspension in the Monarchs’ final game of the regular season against the LA Galaxy II (10/14) and the club’s opening game of the USL Cup Playoffs (10/20).

Portland Timbers 2 defender Lamar Batista has been suspended for three games following his red card for violent conduct against the LA Galaxy II on Saturday. Batista will be unavailable for T2’s games against San Antonio FC (10/11), Phoenix Rising FC (10/14) and the opening game of the 2018 USL regular season.

Ottawa Fury FC defender Kyle Venter has also been suspended for three games following his red card for violent conduct against FC Cincinnati this past Sunday. Venter will be unavailable for Ottawa’s final game of the regular season on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and the opening two games of the 2018 USL regular season.

Tulsa Roughnecks FC’s Collin Fernandez and the New York Red Bulls II David Abidor have each been suspended for one game following their red cards on Saturday night. Fernandez will be unavailable for Tulsa’s final game of the regular season against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (10/14), as will Abidor for the Red Bulls II’s game against the Rochester Rhinos (10/14).

New York Red Bulls II defender Jordan Scarlett was suspended for one game following his red card against the Tampa Bay Rowdies last Wednesday night and served the suspension this past Saturday when New York faced Orlando City B.

Six players have been suspended for caution accumulation, with San Antonio FC’s Pecka and Mark O’Ojong both suspended for Wednesday night’s game against the Portland Timbers 2. Louisville City FC’s Paco Craig is suspended for Saturday’s game against the Richmond Kickers, while Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Rony Argueta will be unavailable against Tulsa Roughnecks FC this Saturday.

Reno 1868 FC’s Jimmy Ockford, the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Keith Savage and Tulsa Roughnecks FC’s Collin Fernandez are no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season. Fernandez achieved the Good Behavior incentive in the Roughnecks’ game last Wednesday night against Phoenix Rising FC prior to his red card this past Saturday against Seattle Sounders FC 2.

The following players enter their upcoming midweek matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension for their club’s final game of the regular season and undisclosed fine.

  • Seattle Sounders FC 2 (1): Rodrigue Ele

The following players enter their club’s final game of the regular season one caution from reaching a fifth caution for the season.
