PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago – Louisville City FC goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh could make his Trinidad & Tobago debut as he and Sacramento Republic FC foward Trevin Caesar were named to the country's squad ahead of two major FIFA 2018 World Cup Qualifiers. The Soca Warriors will face Mexico in Mexico City on October 6th, and the United States in Port of Spain on October 10th in its final two games of The Hex.

The call-up is the second of Ranjitsingh’s career, but on that occasion the goalkeeper was an unused substitute in a pair of World Cup Qualifiers against Guatemala and the United States last September. Ranjitsingh has played in 20 matches this season for Louisville, keeping eight clean sheets with a 66.1 percent save percentage.

Caesar earns another selection to the T&T squad, having previously made 14 appearances for his country since debuting at international level in 2013. In that span, Caesar has notched three goals. The 28-year-old forward has played 27 matches for Sacramento this year, scoring seven goals to put him second on the team. Caesar has scored 26 regular-season goals in the USL over the past three seasons.

Trinidad & Tobago will need to win both matches to have any chance of qualifying through the intercontinental playoff against the winner of the Asian series between Australia and Syria in November.
