The USL surpassed 1,000 goals for the regular season this past weekend, with Orange County SC’s Monday Etim scoring the notable tally on Saturday night. You won’t find that in this week’s five nominees, however, after a week that saw a wide array of spectacular finishes that have been whittled down to the five selected for this week’s USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week award.

Voting will continue through 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 7.

USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 24

Jonathan Barden - #OTTvSTL, 9/3/17: Barden’s weaving run through the Saint Louis FC defense before his low finish at the near post was an outstanding curtain-raiser to a thrilling contest at TD Place on Sunday afternoon.

Ariel Lassiter - #LAvRGV, 9/3/17: Lassiter’s long-range blast from 30 yards was one of the best of the season for Los Dos, and proved the game-winner as the Galaxy II took victory against Rio Grande Valley FC on Sunday.

Sebastian Saucedo - #SLCvSA, 9/2/17: Saucedo’s outstanding piece of control to get him past his defender was matched by an arrow of a finish to the far corner as the U.S. U20 international broke down the San Antonio FC defense.

Pierre Da Silva - #ORLvBST, 8/31/17: Da Silva showed why he was the No. 1 selection in the 2017 USL 20 Under 20, first providing that pass to play in Albert Dikwa into the penalty area, and then arriving with perfect time to fire home a first-time finish.

Seth Rudolph - #OTTvSTL, 9/3/17: Rudolph has been Saint Louis’ talisman of late, but none of his previous goals this season matched this outstanding long-range blast that caromed in off the underside of the crossbar from 35 yards.
