TULSA, Okla. – The prolific combination of Juan Pablo Caffa and Ian Svantesson was at it again for Tulsa on Saturday as Roughnecks FC picked up a 2-0 victory over Phoenix Rising FC at ONEOK Field Saturday. Svantesson headed home a corner off the foot of Caffa in the 15th minute for the decisive tally. Jacori Hayes pounced on a ball in the box and slid home his first professional goal just before halftime and newcomer Christian Thierjung scored off the bench to add insurance and help Tulsa improve to 6-3-0 at home and 8-8-1 overall. Phoenix was held scoreless for just the second time in its last nine games and will welcome a return home to friendly confines next week after dropping to 6-6-5, a mark that includes a 1-4-3 record on the road.
