CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati announced on Friday that forward Daryl Fordyce and defender Derek Luke have both been granted their release and will leave the club.
Fordyce requested a release due to personal reasons relating to family matters. The striker from Belfast, Northern Ireland, joined FCC in January and played nine games for the Orange and Blue.
Luke, who was issued a medical release, will return to his hometown of Bridgewater, N.J., to undergo rehabilitation following surgery on his knee for a lateral meniscus tear. Luke was in his second season with FCC and saw action in 29 matches in 2016.
