USL Discipline Report – Week 11

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 10 of the 2017 United Soccer League season:

Real Monarchs SLC’s Kyle Curinga was issued a two-game suspension and undisclosed fine from the Independent Disciplinary Panel for serious foul play during the club’s May 28 match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2. Curinga served one game of the suspension this past Saturday against Orange County SC and will miss the upcoming Saturday home match against the Portland Timbers 2.

San Antonio FC’s Greg Cochrane is suspended for one match for serious foul play in the second half of Saturday’s game against the Swope Park Rangers. Cochrane is out for this Saturday’s road match against OKC Energy FC.

Two players were issued their fifth cautions of the season during Week 11 and will serve one-game suspensions for yellow card accumulation. Seattle Sounders FC’s Irvin Parra will be suspended for S2’s road match against Rio Grande Valley FC on Saturday and the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Georgi Hristov is suspended for Saturday’s home match against the Rochester Rhinos.

The following 11 players enter their upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. A fifth caution would result in a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • Bethlehem Steel FC (1): Cory Burke

  • Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (1): Josh Suggs

  • New York Red Bulls II (1): Hassan Ndam

  • Pittsburgh Riverhounds (1): Taylor Washington

  • Portland Timbers 2 (1): Rennico Clarke

  • Richmond Kickers (1): Chris Durkin

  • San Antonio FC (2): Sebastian Ibeagha, Stephen McCarthy

  • Seattle Sounders FC 2 (1): Ray Saari

  • Swope Park Rangers (1): James Musa

  • Tampa Bay Rowdies (1): Michael Nanchoff
