OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC Energy FC and Under Armour, Inc. announced on Wednesday a multi-year partnership agreement. The Baltimore-based global leader in performance footwear, apparel and equipment becomes the official outfitter of Energy FC for the 2017 USL season, and its affiliates starting immediately.

The agreement is the first all-encompassing youth and professional soccer apparel partnership for the Under Armour brand in North America. As part of the ground-breaking agreement, Under Armour will outfit Energy FC’s USL club, the Energy FC U23 PDL team, and its youth partners across the city.

“We’re excited to join the Under Armour family and to have them provide our on-field and training gear,” said Energy FC co-owner Bob Funk Jr. “Under Armour is an industry leader and has a solid business model built for growth. We can emulate their ingenuity and growth patterns in our business as well. An all-encompassing partnership with Under Armour to outfit our professional team, our PDL team and the youth teams is a major step for us in the direction of uniting the soccer community within the state of Oklahoma.”

Energy FC is the first USL club to join Under Armour to supply kits and training gear, and is one of only two North American soccer clubs to have their kits provided by Under Armour. The new kit designs are being finalized.
