USL all-time leading scorer squares off with 20 Under 20 selection in Western Conference Final

The USL’s all-time leading scorer Dane Kelly and 2016 USL 20 Under 20 selection Marco Bustos are set to square off when the No. 4-seed Swope Park Rangers and No. 6-seed Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 meet in the USL Western Conference Final on Saturday night.

The No. 9 selection in the 2016 USL 20 Under 20 this summer, Bustos has recorded 14 goals over the past two seasons in the USL for WFC2, and is coming off a pair of appearances this past week for Canada’s National Team against Mauritania and Morocco. An MLS Homegrown signing, Bustos has shown remarkable creativity and is one of the players tipped to lead the new generation of Canadian players on the international stage.

Kelly joined the Rangers this offseason after five strong seasons for the Charleston Battery that saw him help the side claim the 2012 USL Cup. The Jamaican forward was limited by injury during the regular season as he finished with six goals and two assists, but scored the decisive goal in the Rangers’ 2-1 overtime victory against Orange County Blues FC this past Sunday to send the side to the Western Conference Final in its inaugural season.

Which player do you think will lead his side to victory in the Western Conference Final?
