LEESBURG, Va. – Loudoun United FC announced on Friday the club had signed goalkeeper Ethan Bandré to a two-year contract ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Bandré joins the Red-and-White having most recently competed for fellow USL Championship club the Tampa Bay Rowdies, where he recorded 17 appearances across all competitions. In USL Championship play, he recorded one shutout in 13 appearances while recording 27 saves and a 1.31 goals-against average.

“I’m super excited to join Loudoun United and get to work,” said Bandré. “I think it's going to be a great season. We got a bunch of great guys and it's going to be a successful year.”

Bandré spent the 2024 season under contract with the Colorado Rapids, splitting time between the Major League Soccer roster and the club's MLS NEXT Pro reserve team Colorado Rapids 2. He made 13 appearances for Rapids 2 in MLSNP, recording 51 saves and a save percentage of 63.8 percent.

"We couldn't be happier to have Ethan Bandré joining us," said Loudoun Head Coach Anthony Limbrick. "He is a talented, high-character individual who adds significant depth and quality to our goalkeeping department. His arrival marks another step forward in our goal to build the most competitive roster possible."

Prior to his time in Colorado, Bandré began his pro career with Sporting Kansas City II in 2022. The 27-year-old recorded three shutouts in 14 appearances for SKC II during the 2023 campaign while posting 38 saves at a save percentage of 67.9%.

Bandré had previously played college soccer at Pacific University before transferring to Northwestern University, where he continued to develop at the Division I level. While in college, he also gained valuable experience in USL League Two, competing for Kaw Valley Fc and later Des Moines Menace, helping Des Moines win the USL League Two Championship in 2021.

“Ethan Bandré aligns strongly with Loudoun United’s identity as a team-first, competitive, and standards-driven goalkeeper, bringing leadership, professionalism, and daily consistency to the group,” said Loudoun Sporting Director Alen Marcina. “He is a culture giver and excellent communicator, highly coachable with a strong learning mindset, and demonstrates high upside through his commitment to collective success, continuous improvement, and raising the level of those around him.”
