SEASIDE, Calif. – Monterey Bay FC announced on Wednesday it had has signed Georgian midfielder Giorgi Lomtadze to a multi-year deal ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Lomtadze joins Monterey Bay from Dinamo Tbilisi of the Erovnuli Liga, Georgia’s top flight, where he made 15 appearances across all competitions in the 2025 campaign. Prior to joining Dinamo Tbilisi, Lomtadze spent three seasons with fellow Erovnuli Liga club FC Gagra. Across three seasons, he logged 12 goals and five assists in 91 appearances and 5,374 minutes of action.

Overall, the 24-year-old has made 133 appearances in the Erovnuli Liga, with additional prior stops at FC Samredia and FC Sila. In addition to his domestic experience, Lomtadze has represented Georgia at each of the U-17, U-19, and U-21 levels, earning a total of 10 youth international caps.
