33-year-old enters 10th season in Championship having previously earned All-League honors on five occasions

INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Wednesday it had signed defender Paco Craig ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval and per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.

Craig enters his 10th season in the USL Championship after most recently competing for North Carolina FC over the past two seasons. The 33-year-old center back has recorded 237 appearances and logged 19,771 minutes in the regular season since joining Louisville City FC for his rookie season in 2016 and has been a five-time USL Championship All-League honoree over the course of his campaign.

Over the past campaign, Craig helped North Carolina advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, recording 88 duels won, 16 interceptions, seven chances created, and a goal in 19 matches with 16 starts.

A native of London, England, Craig has been one of the most decorated players in the USL Championship’s history. He won a pair of league titles with Louisville City in 2017 and 2018 and since the start of the 2017 season ranks first in the league in Aerial Duels won with 709 at a 65.1 percent success rate, second in clearances with 953 and fifth in interceptions with 329.

Craig has also recorded 17 goals and 10 assists in the Championship’s regular season, while also logging 19 appearances and 1,653 minutes in the USL Championship Playoffs over his career.
