PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC announced on Monday it has signed forward Trevor Amann for the 2026 USL Championship season with a club option for 2027. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Amann joins the Hounds having spent the past campaign with both Sacramento Republic FC and FC Tulsa, scoring two goals in a combined 396 minutes across the two sides that saw him join the Scissortails in a mid-season transfer. The 27-year-old had previously notched nine goals and two assists for Republic FC in 1,703 minutes during the 2024 USL Championship campaign.

“Trevor is a proven goal scorer who brings attacking experience to our group,” said Hounds Sporting Director Dan Visster. “We’re tremendously excited to see what he can produce in our environment and how he can impact games for us this season.”

A native of Westminster, Colo., Amann was the 2023 USL League One Player of the Year and Golden Boot winner with the Northern Colorado Hailstorm. He scored a League One single-season record 23 goals, while finding the net 27 times across all competitions.

Amann’s knack for finding the net goes back to his college days, where he scored 49 goals over five seasons, the first two at Colorado School of Mines and the last three at Midwestern State (Texas), where he earned All-America honors in 2021.
