MIAMI, Fla. – Miami FC announced on Friday the club had signed defender Arthur Rogers ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Rogers joins Miami having spent the past two seasons at fellow USL Championship club FC Tulsa, where he recorded two goals and five assists in 31 appearances while logging 2,150 minutes of action. This past campaign, the 29-year-old helped the Scissortails claim the USL Championship’s Western Conference title for the first time in club history.
“I’m really excited for this next step in my career. I cannot wait to work alongside such a talented group of players,” said Rogers. “I will give it everything I have each and every day! My family and I can’t wait to see this amazing city.”
Rogers had achieved notable success in USL League One, earning USL League One All-League First Team honors and USL League One Defender of the Year in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons for Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC. In 2023, he claimed the League One Golden Playmaker award as he recorded 11 assists for the Hailstorm and helped the club win the inaugural edition of the USL Cup.
A native of London, England, Rogers had previously played for Hartford Athletic in the USL Championship, and over his career has logged five goals, five assists and 74 chances created in 73 appearances and 4,911 minutes across the regular season and playoffs.
In his collegiate career, Rogers played one season at Kentucky Wesleyan College before transferring to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where he was named to the All-Western Athletic Conference Second Team as well as the United States Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region Second Team. While in college, Rogers also had 14 appearances in USL League Two for Corpus Christi FC.
