MIAMI – Miami FC announced on Monday it had acquired midfielder Mason Tunbridge via transfer from USL League One side South Georgia Tormenta FC ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Tunbridge joined Tormenta ahead of the 2024 League One season and recorded 12 goals and eight assists in 50 appearances across the regular season and playoffs. The attacking midfielder also recorded 53 chances created in 2,525 minutes – an average of 1.89 per 90 minutes – while also recording four goals and two assists in USL Cup play.

In his collegiate career, Tunbridge played two seasons at Jacksonville University. In his time with the Dolphins, he scored three goals and two assists. He later transferred to the University of San Diego where he played three seasons in California. His time on the West Coast included him notching 12 goals and 13 assists and being named to the 2022 All-West Region First Team and 2022 All-West Coast Conference First Team.
