TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship today announced the nominees for the 2025 Prinx Tires Most Valuable Performer award, honoring four of the top performers through the campaign for their contributions to their club’s success across the regular season, playoffs and USL Jägermeister Cup.
Fan voting for the award on USLChampionship.com is now open and will run through Friday, Dec, 5, at 12 p.m. ET.
The award-winner will be announced on Friday afternoon following the conclusion of the poll.
Kyle Edwards, Hartford Athletic – The St. Vincent and the Grenadines international set a club record with 12 goals in the regular season – including a league-record eight goals after coming on as a substitute – as Hartford returned to the postseason for the first time since 2020 and won the 2025 USL Jägermeister Cup. Edwards averaged a goal every 94.4 minutes in the regular season and playoffs to key his side’s success.
Stefan Lukić, FC Tulsa – The Serbian midfielder played a key role in FC Tulsa’s rise to first place in the USL Championship’s Western Conference, recording six goals across the regular season and playoffs after coming off the bench to help the Scissortails lead the league with 21 points gained from losing positions while bagging two game-winning goals in the USL Championship Playoffs.
Amando Moreno, El Paso Locomotive – The El Salvador international helped power Locomotive’s surge from a last-place finish in 2024 to a top-four finish in the past campaign with 10 goals and four assists across the regular season and playoffs. Moreno ended the campaign with a +7.81 Goals Added mark, ranking seventh in the USL Championship, sitting more than 2.8 G+ ahead of any outfield teammate in the metric.
Jorge Hernández, San Antonio FC – The San Antonio stalwart produced another standout campaign to help SAFC return to the postseason this year, leading the club with both 11 goals and six assists and a +4.63 Goals Added mark. Hernández contributed to 43.6 percent of San Antonio’s goals in the 2025 regular season, almost tripling the number of goal contributions of his closest teammates.
