LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club announced on Monday its initial roster moves ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season, with 14 players set to return to the squad for its second campaign in the league.
Lexington announced it had exercised its contract option for forward Milo Yosef, while goalkeepers Logan Ketterer and Brooks Thompson, defenders Kendall Burks, Jacob Greene, Joe Hafferty and Xavier Zengue, midfielders Latif Blessing, Blaine Ferri, Nick Firmino, and forwards Michael Adedokun, Malik Henry-Scott, Alfredo Midence, Braudílio Rodrigues were previously under contract.
The club also announced it had declined contract options on Nico Brown, Edrey Caceres, Gaël Gibert, Kimball Jackson, Azaad Liadi, Josh Ramsey and Daniel Wu while also exercising contract buyouts for Sofiane Djeffal and Daniel Barbir.
Forwards Cory Burke and Cameron Lancaster are both out of contract and free agents, while Forster Ajago returned to Real Salt Lake and Kieran Sargeant to Houston Dynamo FC at the conclusion of their loan agreements.
Additional announcements regarding Lexington’s 2026 USL Championship roster will be made throughout the offseason.
