USL Championship Player of the Month Nominees – October

Four standouts lit up the final month of the regular season, which gets your vote?

TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship today announced the nominees for the USL Championship Player of the Month presented by Konami eFootball for October, honoring four of the top performers through the final month of the 2025 regular season.

Voting for the Championship Player of the Month award will be conducted by the following three voting bodies:

  • A fan vote on USLChampionship.com will comprise 51% of the poll. The fan vote will run through Monday, Nov. 3, at 12 p.m. ET.
  • The USL Technical Committee's ballots comprise 25% of the poll.
  • The USL National Media Panel’s ballots comprise 24% of the poll.

The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 6.

Please note: The Championship Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards, such as Championship Player of the Year or position players of the year. Additionally, the selection process takes both USL Championship and USL Jägermeister Cup matches into consideration.

USL CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYER OF THE MONTH NOMINEES – OCTOBER

  • Peter Wilson, Oakland Roots SC – The Liberian recorded six goals and two assists in five appearances to claim the USL Championship’s Golden Boot while averaging a goal every 74.5 minutes while leading the league with a +2.74 Goals Added mark.

  • Woobens Pacius, Tampa Bay Rowdies – The Haiti international recorded four goals in three games to close the season, averaging a goal every 65.5 minutes while posting a shooting accuracy rate of 71.4 percent and a shot conversion rate of 57.1 percent for the Rowdies.

  • Chris Hegardt, Orange County SC – The 23-year-old recorded a league-high four assists in the month while ranking second in the league with 14 chances created and fifth with a +1.70 Goals Added mark in the month.

  • JJ Williams, Rhode Island FC – Williams recorded three goals and one assist in three appearances over the month, averaging a goal every 60 minutes while recording four shots on target for a 75 percent shot conversion rate.
