Remarkable denials featured across the final week of the regular season

The final week of the regular season saw the league’s goalkeeper’s make some remarkable denials! Make sure to cast your vote for your favorite nominee for the USL Championship Fans' Choice Save of the Week, presented by Terminix, below. Voting runs through Friday, Oct. 31, at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans' Choice Save of the Week - Week 34

Danny Vitiello (SAC) - #SACvCHS, Oct. 22: Vitiello made a brilliant late save to preserve a three-save shutout in Republic FC’s 1-0 victory against Charleston, denying the Battery’s Rubio Rubín in the final minute.

John Berner (HFD) - #LOUvHFD, Oct. 25: The veteran shot-stopper made an outstanding reflex save on a point-blank header by LouCity’s Sean Totsch early in the second half at Lynn Family Stadium.

Christian Herrera (COS) - #TULvCOS, Oct. 25: Herrera equaled his career-high with an eight-save performance in Tulsa that included some outstanding stops, led by his one-on-one denial of Kalil ElMedkhar late in the first half.

Colin Shutler (OC) - #OCvIND, Oct. 25: Shutler kept his side level as it battled for a place in the postseason with a one-handed save to deny Indy’s Jack Blake on a powerful strike to the top-right corner.
