LOUISVILLE CITY FC REACHES 20 WINS IN REGULAR SEASON FOR THIRD TIME
Louisville City FC
took its 20th win of the 2025 USL Championship regular season on Saturday night with a 2-0 victory against LIPAFC rival Indy Eleven at Lynn Family Stadium. The result marked the third time Louisville City has reached 20 wins in a regular season, making it the first club to do so in the USL Championship era, with all three campaigns coming under current Head Coach Danny Cruz over the past four seasons.

HARTFORD ATHLETIC CONTINUES LENGTHY ROAD WINNING STREAK

Hartford Athletic continued its remarkable road winning streak against Oakland Roots SC on Tuesday night, and in doing so moved into a tie for the second-longest road winning streak in USL Championship regular season history. Hartford’s 3-1 comeback victory was the club’s sixth consecutive road win, dating to a 4-1 victory against Birmingham Legion FC on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Hartford joined Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (2019-20) and Orlando City SC (2012-13) in achieving six consecutive away wins. The club trails now only Phoenix Rising FC’s nine-game road winning streak set in the 2019 season.

FC TULSA’S POINT SPLITS PAVED WAY TO RECORD-SETTING SEASON

FC Tulsa set a club landmark on Saturday night following its 3-0 victory against Lexington SC, reaching 50 points for the first time in the USL Championship regular season in its history. The Scissortails also equaled the most wins in a single season in club history with 14 victories this season, previously achieved in the 2017 and 2021 seasons.

At the center of the club’s historic campaign, which will see it host its first playoff game this postseason, has been its combination of resilience when trailing and ability to hold a lead when ahead. The Scissortails are 11-0-3 when scoring first this season and have rallied to earn 20 points from losing positions. The club’s current +14-point differential between the two categories currently ranks third in USL Championship regular season history.

USL CHAMPIONSHIP, LEAGUE ONE PLAYERS HEAD FOR CONCACAF WORLD CUP QUALIFYING

Ten players from the USL Championship and USL League One have been called up to represent their countries this week as 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying continues in Concacaf. Included in the selections is a first call-up for Tampa Bay Rowdies forward Woobens Pacius by Haiti, with the 24-year-old having recorded 12 goals this regular season to lead the club.

- Tampa Bay Rowdies forward Manuel Arteaga scored in his fourth consecutive game and recorded his 25th regular season goal for the club on Saturday night in its 4-0 victory against Monterey Bay FC. Arteaga is the fourth player to have recorded at least 25 goals for the Rowdies since the club joined the USL Championship in 2017, joining Sebastián Guenzatti (59), Leo Fernandes (40) and Cal Jennings (34).

- Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC took a 1-0 victory against San Antonio FC to break a 12-game winless streak in the regular season series between the clubs on Saturday night. Colorado Springs had last defeated San Antonio on March 23, 2019, during the tenure of the club’s first Head Coach Steve Trittschuh.

- Oakland Roots SC forward Peter Wilson continued his scoring streak last Wednesday afternoon with a late consolation goal in the side’s defeat against El Paso Locomotive FC. Wilson has scored in each of his past four appearances, recording six goals in that span.

- Miami FC’s 3-1 victory against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC marked the first time in more than four years that the side had rallied from a halftime deficit to take victory at home. Miami rallied for a 3-2 victory against the Charleston Battery on August 1, 2021 behind second-half goals from Christiano François and Billy Forbes.

- Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC goalkeeper Christian Herrera recorded his 30th shutout in the USL Championship Regular season in his side’s 1-0 victory against San Antonio FC on Saturday night. Herrera reached the mark in his 112th regular season appearance, with 24 of his shutouts coming for the Switchbacks.

Lexington SC’s Logan Ketterer has been suspended for one game following his red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity against FC Tulsa on October 4. Ketterer will be unavailable for selection in Lexington’s contest against El Paso Locomotive FC on Saturday.

Loudoun United FC’s Zach Ryan has been suspended for one game following his red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity against Birmingham Legion FC on October 4. Ryan will be unavailable for selection in Loudoun’s contest against Detroit City FC on Saturday.

Louisville City FC’s Damian Las has been suspended for one game following his red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity against Indy Eleven on October 4. Las will be unavailable for selection in Louisville’s contest against Miami FC on Saturday.

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Duke Lacroix has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against San Antonio FC on October 4. Lacroix will be unavailable for selection in Colorado Springs’ contest against the Charleston Battery on Saturday.

New Mexico United’s Gedion Zelalem has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation following his eighth yellow card of the season against Phoenix Rising FC on October 4. Zelalem will be unavailable for selection in New Mexico’s contest against Orange County SC on Saturday.

Sacramento Republic FC’s Sebastian Herrera has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses in the 2025 USL Jägermeister Cup Final on October 4. Herrera will serve his suspension in the opening game of the 2026 edition of the tournament.
