LOUISVILLE CITY’S DANNY CRUZ YOUNGEST, FASTEST TO 100 VICTORIES IN USL CHAMPIONSHIP
Louisville City FC Head Coach Danny Cruz recorded his 100th victory in the USL Championship since taking the helm at the club on April 27, 2021 on Saturday night as LouCity took a 3-1 victory against Las Vegas Lights FC at Lynn Family Stadium.
Cruz is both the fastest coach to reach 100 wins in the USL-C across the regular season and playoffs – achieving the mark after just 169 games, surpassing the mark set earlier this season by current Sacramento Republic FC Head Coach Neill Collins at 185 games – but is also the youngest, reaching the mark aged 35 years, 8 months, 17 days old. He is the third to reach 100 victories with one club in the USL-C era, following the Charleston Battery’s Mike Anhaeuser (136-100-88) and current Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Head Coach Bob Lilley (119-58-74).

Indy Eleven midfielder Aodhan Quinn recorded his eighth assist of the season on Sunday evening, providing the helper on Edward Kizza’s second-half goal that began the Boys in Blue’s rally for a 2-1 victory against Birmingham Legion FC at Michael A. Carroll Stadium. Quinn moved into a tie for second place in USL Championship history with his 58th regular season assist all-time with Solomon Asanté.
Quinn’s eight assists for Indy this season are the third-highest single-season total of his career, trailing only 14 assists for Orange County SC in the 2018 season and 11 assists for Phoenix Rising FC in the 2021 season. He currently trails all-time regular season assists leader Kenardo Forbes by eight helpers, with the Jamaican having logged 66 regular season assists in his career.

Louisville City FC defender Sean Totsch recorded his 295th regular season appearance in the USL Championship on Saturday in the club’s 3-1 victory against Las Vegas Lights FC. The veteran moved into a tie for the most regular season appearances in the USL Championship’s history, sitting level with former Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC midfielder Kenardo Forbes ahead of the side’s contest against Detroit City FC.
Totsch is currently in his ninth season with LouCity, having played his first two seasons with the Rochester Rhinos. The five-time USL Championship All-League selection and three-time league-title winner recently became the first player in league history to record 250 regular season appearances for one club.

Louisville City FC claimed its 18th win of the regular season with a 3-1 victory against Las Vegas Lights FC on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium. With only one loss in the regular season campaign, LouCity has earned 60 points from 25 games, an average of 2.4 points per game in the current campaign.
LouCity’s mark is on course to surpass the USL Championship’s single-season record for points per game. Orlando City SC posted a 2.38ppg mark in the 2012 season, logging a 17-1-6 record across the 24-game regular season for 57 points. Should LouCity win four of its remaining five games, it would reach 72 points and surpass Orlando City’s mark.

- The Charleston Battery’s Juan David Torres became the third player to record at least 10 assists in a regular season for the club in the USL-C era with his league-leading 10th helper against El Paso Locomotive FC on Saturday. Maikel Chang (2017) and Zeiko Lewis (2021) had previously recorded 10 assists for the club in the USL-C era.
- Sacramento Republic FC midfielder Nick Ross became the seventh player to record 100 regular season appearances for the club in its history on Saturday night against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Ross joined Cameron Iwasa (156), Luis Felipe Fernandes (138), Rodrigo López (133), Jack Gurr (113), Danny Vitiello (109) and Emrah Klimenta (102) in reaching the landmark.
- Loudoun United FC’s Ben Mines has recorded goal contributions in five consecutive games following his goal and assist against Phoenix Rising FC this past Saturday. The 25-year-old has recorded two goals and four assists during the current streak.
- Las Vegas Lights FC goalkeeper Raiko Arozarena’s nine-save performance against Louisville City FC set a new season-high for saves, surpassing three instances of eight-save displays by Felipe Rodriguez (Miami FC), Nico Campuzano (Monterey Bay FC) and Abraham Romero (Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC).
- Sacramento Republic FC goalkeeper Danny Vitiello recorded his league-leading 11th shutout of the season against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday night. Vitiello has now recorded 57 career shutouts, one behind both Evan Newton and current New Mexico United goalkeeper Alex Tambakis for the all-time regular season lead of 58.
- North Carolina FC is undefeated in its last seven regular season meetings with the Tampa Bay Rowdies following Oalex Anderson’s late equalizer at Al Lang Stadium on Saturday. The Rowdies last took victory in the series on September 1, 2018 with a 3-0 victory at First Horizon Stadium.
