LEESBURG, Va. – Loudoun United FC announced on Friday it had re-acquired defender Garrison Tubbs on loan from D.C. United of Major League Soccer for the remainder of 2025 season. The transaction was completed prior to the USL Championship Roster Freeze on Monday, Sept. 8.

Tubbs joined Loudoun on a short loan earlier in the season, before being recalled back to D.C. United. Tubbs played in one USL Jägermeister Cup match against Lexington SC, a contest United won 1-0.

While at D.C. United this season, Tubbs has recorded eight appearances, including seven starts, as well as a goal in the U.S. Open Cup. In his 2024 season for D.C. United, Tubbs recorded 15 matches played and seven starts, tallying a total of 549 minutes played with an 88% pass completion percentage.

“We’re pleased to have Garrison Tubbs back with Loudoun United on loan,” said Loudoun United FC Head Coach Ryan Martin. “Garrison made a strong impact with us previously, and his return adds depth, familiarity, and quality to our defensive group. We look forward to his continued contributions as we enter a crucial stretch of the season.”
