Sacramento Republic FC will host Hartford Athletic in the 2025 USL Jägermeister Cup Final at Heart Health Park on Saturday, October 4 having had its ball selected in a live draw on CBS Sports Golazo Network’s Morning Footy on Thursday morning.

The USL Jägermeister Cup Final will kick off at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT and air live on CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Republic FC advanced to the final after claiming a 3-0 victory in a penalty shootout against Rhode Island FC on Wednesday night at Centreville Bank Stadium after the teams had played to a scoreless draw through 90 minutes, a result that marked the club’s second consecutive advancement from the spot in the tournament. Republic FC also eliminated Loudoun United FC via a shootout in the Quarterfinals, and enters its third final in club history having conceded only once in six games across the group and knockout stage.

Hartford reached its first final in club history with a 3-1 victory against Greenville Triumph SC on Wednesday night at Trinity Health Stadium as late goals by Marlon Hairston and Michee Ngalina pushed the side past its USL League One opponent. Athletic is undefeated in the tournament so far, having advanced as a wild card from Group 4 with a 2-0-2 record before taking a 2-0 victory against San Antonio FC at Toyota Field in the Quarterfinals.

The contest will mark just the third meeting between the teams all-time, with Republic FC having earned victory in their prior two meetings. The sides will also square off in the USL Championship regular season one week later on Saturday, October 11 at Hartford’s Trinity Health Stadium.
