INDY ELEVEN’S AODHAN QUINN BECOMES USL CHAMPIONSHIP’S ALL-TIME MINUTES LEADER
Indy Eleven veteran Aodhan Quinn became the USL Championship’s all-time leader in regular season minutes on Saturday night, surpassing Louisville City FC’s Sean Totsch as he logged the full 90 minutes for the Boys in Blue on the road against Detroit City FC.
Now in his 12th season in the USL Championship, Quinn now sits with 23,327 minutes played in the regular season, narrowly ahead of Totsch, who came on as a late substitute in LouCity’s contest against the Charleston Battery on Saturday to move to 23,295 minutes in his career.
Quinn’s appearance marked his 280th regular season game in the USL Championship overall. One of only three players to have recorded at least 50 goals and 50 assists in his career, the 33-year-old has averaged 83.3 minutes per appearance in his career.

Sacramento Republic FC midfielder Rodrigo López recorded the 40th regular season goal of his career in the USL Championship on Saturday night, notching the game-winner in Republic FC’s 1-0 victory against Monterey Bay FC at Heart Health Park. In the process, López became only the fifth player to record at least 40 goals and 40 assists in the Championship’s regular season for his career, with the Republic FC legend currently on 49 regular-season assists.

FC TULSA PROVING COMEBACK KINGS IN 2025 USL CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON

FC Tulsa extended its club-record undefeated streak to 12 games with a pair of victories in Week 23 of the regular season but also continued a remarkable streak that has shown the club’s resilience this season. Following the club’s 3-2 victory against Monterey Bay FC last Wednesday night and 5-2 victory against New Mexico United last Saturday night, Tulsa has trailed in six consecutive regular season games but posted a 5-0-1 record.
That has seen the Scissortails post a single-season club record with 19 points gained from losing positions, surpassing the 14 points gained the club achieved in the 2018 season. The club is now five points from equaling the USL Championship single-season mark of 24 points gained from losing positions in a single season, set by Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in 2021 and equaled by the Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2022.

- Hartford Athletic’s Mamadou Dieng’s two-goal performance against Birmingham Legion FC on Saturday night moved him into sole possession of the club’s all-time goalscoring record in the USL Championship regular season. The 21-year-old has recorded 20 goals in 48 regular season games for the club, passing Danny Barrera on 18 goals for the all-time lead.
- Birmingham Legion FC’s Enzo Martínez recorded his 78th goal in the USL Championship regular season on Saturday night against Hartford Athletic. Martinez now has 130 career goal contributions, only two goal contributions from equaling Dane Kelly’s record of 132 in the Championship’s regular season.
- Louisville City FC extended its home regular season undefeated streak to 19 games with its 4-1 victory against the Charleston Battery on Saturday night. LouCity is now tied for the ninth-longest home regular season undefeated streak in league history, with the record 33 games by the Richmond Kickers between 2012-14.
- FC Tulsa’s victory against New Mexico United marked its first in the series since the Scissortails took a 2-1 victory at ONEOK Field on October 12, 2019. Janú Silva scored the winning goal in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time in the contest, the last of his seven goals for the club.
- Hartford Athletic’s three-game winning streak is the club’s first since a run of three consecutive victories between September 6-18, 2022. The three-game run during the 2022 season accounted for three of Tab Ramos’ seven total victories in the USL Championship regular season during his tenure (7-13-5).
- New Mexico United’s 5-2 defeat at FC Tulsa this past Saturday marked the first time in club history it had conceded at least four goals in consecutive league contests after a 4-0 defeat to Hartford Athletic on July 30. United has lost four consecutive regular season games for the first time in its history.
- Saturday night’s contest between Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and the Charleston Battery at Highmark Stadium will mark the 32nd regular season meeting between the clubs in the USL Championship era, with the Battery holding an 11-7-13 lead in the series. Only Phoenix Rising FC and Orange County SC have met on more occasions (34) in the USL-C regular season.

Miami FC’s Deian Veron has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against El Paso Locomotive FC on August 9. Veron will be unavailable for selection in Miami’s contest against Louisville City FC on Saturday.
San Antonio FC’s Lucio Berron has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation following his eighth yellow card of the season against Las Vegas Lights FC on August 9. Berron will be unavailable for selection in San Antonio’s contest against Lexington SC on Saturday.
