LOUCITY’S TAYLOR DAVILA ADDS NAME TO THREE-ASSISTS CLUB
Louisville City FC’s Taylor Davila became the 23rd player to record three assists in a USL Championship regular season contest on Saturday night in the club’s 4-2 victory against Birmingham Legion FC. Davila’s three-assist night was the first in the Championship since Solomon Asanté accomplished the feat for a league-record third time in his career for Indy Eleven against Birmingham Legion FC on August 9, 2023.
Davila was the second Louisville City player to record a three-assist game and the first since the club’s inaugural season after Enrique Montano recorded three assists against the Harrisburg City Islanders on August 12, 2015.
Davila also became only the second player to record every assist in a hat trick, providing the helpers on each of Phillip Goodrum’s three tallies against Legion. Previously, Brent Richards recorded three assists on goals by Danny Musovski for Reno 1868 FC against Tacoma Defiance on Sept. 10, 2019, with Musovski ending the night with a four-goal haul.
