Phillip Goodrum voted Player of the Week with LouCity's first perfect hat trick

TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship today announced the Team of the Week for Week 15 of the 2025 regular season, with Louisville City FC forward Phillip Goodrum named Player of the Week presented by Konami eFootball with a perfect hat trick in a comeback victory against Birmingham Legion FC.

The 27-year-old helped Louisville tally a comeback victory and remain unbeaten in USL Championship play this season with the second hat trick of his professional career. Further, Goodrum's 28-minute, perfect hat trick was the first in the club's 11-season history.

"Ever since I played against LouCity, I knew this is the place I wanted to be," Goodrum said. "This is the premier club in the USL. For me, this is my big Champions League club of my career. To wear No. 9 here and be the guy to put the ball in the back of the net, it means a lot."

The Championship's Player of the Week is selected by the USL National Media Panel, which is made up of representatives from each media market in the Championship. Goodrum finished with 82%, while Loudoun United FC's Abdellatif Aboukoura finished second on 18%.

GK – Patrick Rakovsky, Phoenix Rising FC: The 32-year-old German goalkeeper made seven saves in his side's 1-1 draw against Tulsa. Rakovsky also registered 14 recoveries, completed 82% of his passes and connected on 10 long balls.

D – Arthur Rogers, FC Tulsa: The two-time USL League One Defender of the Year scored his first FC Tulsa goal on Saturday, providing the equalizing goal in Tulsa's 1-1 draw against Phoenix. Rogers recorded six recoveries, six duels won, five accurate long passes, four clearances, three shots on target and two tackles won.

D – Ben Ofeimu, Indy Eleven: Ofeimu was productive in Indy's 1-0 victory against Pittsburgh. The 24-year-old recorded 15 clearances, completed 84% of his passes, won seven duels, connected on three long passes and won two tackles.

D – Houssou Landry, Charleston Battery: Landry scored the winner against Hartford in the 50th minute - the second match-winning goal the Ivorian has scored against Hartford this season - before ending his day with a 78% passing accuracy rate, seven duels won, five clearances, three recoveries and two tackles won.

M – Abdellatif Aboukoura, Loudoun United FC: The 20-year-old has continued his strong start to the season, bagging the third brace of his professional career in a 3-2 win against Detroit. Aboukoura also added a 75% passing accuracy rate, three shots on target, three duels won, two chances created, two successful dribbles, two completed crosses and two interceptions.

M – Maxi Rodriguez, Rhode Island FC: Rodriguez concluded his two-match Week 15 by scoring the winning penalty kick in second-half stoppage time in Rhode Island's 2-1 victory against North Carolina. In 112 minutes, the 29-year-old registered five recoveries, four duels won, three interceptions, two clearances and a 74% passing accuracy rate.

M – Taylor Davila, Louisville City FC: The 24-year-old enjoyed a career day against Birmingham, assisting every goal of Phillip Goodrum's hat trick. In a pair of Week 15 contests and 172 minutes of action, Davila recorded 14 recoveries, 12 duels won, nine total chances created, nine completed long passes, three fouls won and a 78% passing accuracy rate.

M – Lewis Hilton, Tampa Bay Rowdies: The 31-year-old provided a pair of assists in a single match for the first time in his decade-long professional career, helping Tampa Bay to a 2-1 victory against Miami. Hilton contributed an additional eight duels won, 78% passing accuracy rate, five accurate long passes, four completed crosses, three clearances, three recoveries and two fouls won.

F – Johnny Rodriguez, Las Vegas Lights FC: Rodriguez recorded his first Las Vegas brace, scoring twice in four minutes to power the Lights to a 2-0 victory against Monterey Bay. The forward also completed 73% of his passes, won six duels, placed four shots on target and completed all three of his dribbles.

F – Phillip Goodrum, Louisville City FC: Goodrum registered the second hat trick of his professional career, scoring three times in 28 minutes in Louisville's 4-2 victory against Birmingham. Through 124 minutes in Week 15, Goodrum finished with 11 duels won, five shots on target and three fouls won.

F – Ethan Zubak, Orange County SC: Zubak scored twice in a matter of minutes to send Orange County to a 3-0 road victory against El Paso. The 27-year-old also completed 80% of his passes and won four duels.

Coach – Terry Boss, Lexington SC: With a 2-1 win against Western Conference-leading New Mexico, Boss led Lexington to its first victory since March 19 and second-ever USL Championship victory.
