LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Lights FC announced on Tuesday the departure of Head Coach Antonio Nocerino from the club.
“I am grateful for Antonio’s contributions to this club since joining ahead of the 2025 season,” said Lights Sporting Director Gianleonardo Neglia. “We agreed that now is the right time for Antonio to step away as we sit one point out of the playoff positions. I appreciate his professionalism throughout his time in Las Vegas and wish him the best in his next opportunity.”
Appointed this offseason, Nocerino led the Lights to a 3-6-3 record in USL Championship play, but the side struggled in the attacking half of the field, scoring only seven goals in 12 league contests.
Las Vegas’ defeat to San Antonio FC on Saturday night marked its fifth consecutive defeat across all competitions.
The search for the club’s next Head Coach is underway. Assistant Coach Giovanni Troise will lead the team in training ahead of Saturday’s home match against Monterey Bay FC.
