CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Chattanooga Red Wolves SC today announced it has signed defenders Jordan Ayimbila and Kimball Jackson on loan from Miami FC and Lexington SC, respectively, pending league and federation approval.
24-year-old Ghanaian defender Jordan Ayimbila joins Chattanooga on loan from Miami FC. During the 2024 USL Championship season, Ayimbila made 21 appearances for Miami across all competitions.
The Accra, Ghana native developed in the youth ranks of Accra Lions FC before making his professional debut on loan with Malaysia Super League side Selangor FC in March 2021. In 2022, Ayimbila was loaned to San Antonio FC and helped the USL Championship side win its first league title. The defender joined fellow USL Championship club Las Vegas Lights FC on a permanent basis in 2023 before joining Miami in 2024.
20-year-old American defender Kimball Jackson joins Chattanooga on loan from Lexington SC. Since 2023, the Lexington, Ky. native has made eight appearances and tallied one goal for LSC across USL League One and U.S. Open Cup play. Jackson developed with the FC Cincinnati Academy and spent the 2022 season with Xavier University.
