LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington SC announced on Monday it had signed winger and attacking midfielder Braudilio Rodrigues ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Rodrigues joins Lexington after spending the past two seasons in the Seattle Sounders FC organization. The 25-year-old signed with Tacoma Defiance prior to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season and produced a standout campaign, recording 17 goals and four assists in 30 appearances across the regular season and playoffs.

A native of Guinea-Bissau, Rodrigues was signed to a First Team contract by the Sounders ahead of the 2024 season but struggled with injury for much of the campaign. He made eight appearances on loan with Defiance, the majority coming from September onward, as he notched two goals and one assist in 312 minutes of action.

“I am very happy to join Lexington Sporting Club,” said Rodrigues. “It’s an organization with a winning project and an exciting way of playing. I can't wait to contribute to the club's journey and be part of something special that is evolving and making a significant impact on the field and in the community.”

Rodrigues had previously starred at Franklin Pierce University, where he was selected as the United Soccer Coaches Division II National Player of the Year in 2022 and to the Division II All-America First Team. Rodrigues recorded 31 goals and 25 assists in 45 appearances for the Ravens before joining the professional ranks.
