IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced on Friday the club had signed defender Ryan Doghman to a new contract ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Doghman returns for his third season with Orange County having made 57 appearances for the club over the past two campaigns. The 27-year-old has recorded three goals, six assists and 37 chances created in 4,348 minutes across the regular season and playoffs while also notching 40 interceptions, 116 clearances and 257 recoveries defensively.
A native of Oslo, Norway, Doghman has also won 211 duels at a 51 percent success rate and 66 tackles at a 68.8 percent success rate.
Prior to moving to Orange County, Doghman spent two seasons with Asane in Norway’s second tier where he recorded six goals in 56 appearances for the side. He had previously spent three seasons at Raufoss, where he recorded nine goals in 66 appearances.
