MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Westchester SC today announced that it has acquired goalkeeper Dane Jacomen on a season-long loan from USL Championship side Loudoun United FC. The move is subject to league and federation approval.

A Pittsburgh, Pa. native and product of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy and D.C. United Academy, Jacomen played collegiately at the University of Pennsylvania (2018-21) and in USL League Two with Northern Virginia FC (2019) and West Chester United SC (2021) - winning the USL League Two Golden Glove with the latter - before signing a professional contract with USL Championship side Loudoun United FC in 2022.

Jacomen made his professional debut in 2022 on a short-term loan with USL League One side Charlotte Independence. In addition to two appearances with the Jacks, the 23-year-old has made 21 appearances across all competitions with Loudoun, racking up three clean sheets in the process.

"Dane has been a great professional throughout his time at Loudoun and we're extremely high on the goalkeeper he can be for us in the future," said Loudoun Director of Soccer Olly Gage. "Senior professional minutes are soccer's most valuable currency and key to player development. A season in USL League One with Westchester SC will be a key part of his development pathway, and we've no doubt Dane will return to the club a better goalkeeper in 2026."

"Dane showed tremendous growth in 2024, and we are happy to have him return to Loudoun United Football Club for the foreseeable future," said Loudoun Head Coach Ryan Martin. "The next step in his growth is to play games and we felt the option to loan him to Westchester SC was the best way for him to grow into a starting goalkeeper.  We look forward to tracking him and having him back in 2026!"
