LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Lights FC announced on Friday it had signed defender Jack Singer to a one-year contract with an option for the 2026 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Singer played 15 matches for the University of Virginia during the 2023 NCAA Division I season, logging 989 minutes of action and notching one assist.
“We’re pleased to add Jack to our 2025 roster,” said Sporting Director Gianleonardo Neglia. “He’s a versatile player who has played in a variety of positions throughout his college career. This versatility allows him to play anywhere across the back line, which will be an important asset for us as we continue to build a strong roster for this season.”
Singer had previously played for four years at the University of California-Berkeley, registering 50 appearances and scoring four goals. During the 2021 season, he was the team’s joint top-scorer with three goals.
He then went on to play for the University of Virginia while obtaining a master’s degree in educational psychology, where he earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team honors.
