LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington SC announced on Thursday it had signed forward Nico Brown to a new contract ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Brown has been with the club since the team’s inaugural campaign in 2023, recording 52 appearances in USL League One. The 26-year-old has recorded 11 goals, four assists and 32 chances created in 3,883 minutes of play while posting a shooting accuracy rate of 52.5 percent and an 18 percent shot conversion rate.
Before joining Lexington, Brown gained professional experience with the Maryland Bobcats in NISA and Greenville Triumph SC in USL League One. With the Triumph, he logged 596 minutes and recorded three goals in 26 appearances while also notching six chances created.
Brown had previously competed for Loyola University Maryland where he recorded nine goals and five assists in 62 career appearances.
