FC Tulsa adds Stefan Lukic for new season

Serbian midfielder recorded two goals, five assists for Red Wolves during 2024 League One campaign

TULSA, Okla. – FC Tulsa announced on Tuesday it had signed midfielder Stefan Lukic ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Lukic joins the club after spending the 2024 season with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC of USL League One, where he recorded two goals and five assists in 29 appearances for the side across the regular season and USL Jägermeister Cup.

The 29-year-old had previously spent two seasons in League One with Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, where he recorded two goals, three assists and 44 chances created in 54 appearances across the regular season and playoffs.

Prior to joining the professional ranks, Lukic was part of the Partizan Belgrade Youth Academy at 11, spending nine years as captain of the club’s various age groups. He moved to the U.S. to play collegiately for Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

In five seasons at OKWU (2017-21), he appeared in 112 matches, netting 62 goals and 93 assists while earning four NAIA First-Team All-America selections and Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference MVP nods. He was named the 2019 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Player of the Year as a junior after leading the nation in assists (17) and placing fourth nationally in assists per game (.77). Lukic also led the Eagles to multiple postseason runs, including a National Championship appearance in 2020.

During his collegiate career he competed in USL League Two Corpus Christi FC, where he recorded nine goals across 21 appearances.
